Billy Yancy USA Footy
Charles ‘Billy’ Yancy brings American professional football playing experience and college coaching experience to USA Footy. He has 20 years of experience in various coaching positions for competitive professional women’s football, semi-professional men’s football, NCAA and junior college football teams.

Billy has extensive knowledge on both sides of the ball having played quarterback in college (he was named All-American in his junior year) and defensive back at the professional level.

He played cornerback in the National Football League for both the LA Rams & Detroit Lions. He also played in the USFL (Oakland Invaders & Pittsburgh Maulers) and Canadian Football League (Calgary Stampeders).

Billy coached the defensive secondary at LA Pierce College, was Defensive Coordinator at Pasadena City College, and was a Defensive Backs Coach at Northwood University. He also coached the defensive secondary at a private high school (Sierra Canyon High School) that went on to win their first state championship that year.

Billy has spent the last decade teaching and developing sport specific athletic skills and coaching strategies to enhance the athletic performance of student-athletes. He is actively involved in motivational programs and currently runs a training facility that specializes in strength & conditioning development and speed & agility training for all positions.
